A Group Buy (or GB) is a term used in the Keyboard Community to describe a type of crowdfunding. In a Group Buy, a minimum number of products must be sold before manufacturing can commence. Once the minimum order quantity (MOQ) is reached and the group buy period ends, production will begin. If the required number of products is not sold before the predetermined time, the product will not be made, and participants will be refunded. Unlike traditional sales where products are sold based on quantity and can run out of stock, Group Buys do not have limited stock as products are not sold by quantity.

When a trusted community vendor is handling the Group Buy, it can be similar to preordering a product. However, there is a risk associated with entrusting a newer vendor or individual running a Group Buy with your money, and it is important to conduct your own research and exercise caution when considering joining a Group Buy.

Group Buys are organized because manufacturing these products requires a significant amount of money, and there may not be enough funds upfront. However, Group Buys promote community-based interaction and contribute to a more democratic buying process.

Group buy products are not in stock and require a special order process. As such, there will be a waiting period until the specified timeframe listed for the group buy to be completed. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work diligently to fulfill your order. Rest assured, we'll keep you updated on the progress, and we're here to assist you every step of the way.

At kukey.studio, Group Buys are typically non-cancellable and non-refundable, unless the MOQ is not reached.
